My first BMW was a 1981 320i. Slow, awkward but I miss it (sold in 1992). I am thinking of searching for a 323i, anyone have experience with one of these, the drive, the repairs, parts availability? Sure I don't have a 2002 nor an e28 but for some reason, this car is interesting to me. Opinions welcome.
I would reach out to @Luis A. He had a beautiful red 323 with houndstooth check interior. When he was selling it, I thought seriously of buying it as the 320i was my first BMW when I graduated college in 1977.

I've never owned an E21, but I now recall it was the gateway drug for me and my fondness for BMWs. R&T had a white Alpina E21 on the cover in the late '70s, and I was totally smitten after reading the article. It led to a fruitless search for some wall art:

"Do you have any posters with an Alpina BMW on it? All I can find are these Countach ones. Also, where are the Farah Fawcett posters?"

Garage that big! Car is sitting parallel to the door. Wow even with those big bumpers.
