Copart BMW finds...

I've seen several BaT auction vehicles resold on copart for more money, most of them having lots of rust that doesn't get shown with the copart photos.

It was brought to Concours d’ Lemons, driven by Wayne and Dodi. They claimed it was maybe one of five or less in the US and worth $200K restored.

Complete with dead possum in the back seat. Pretty gross.

Good save Dan! These Old English cars can be easily made to run reliably again. It is the cosmetics that takes time and dollars. But there will always be someone looking.
We only buy stuff that seem like deals so we won't be spending much. The other buyer bumped our bid up a couple hundred to $1200. When I'm high bid I always leave it at what it is. If I don't get the car I try again the following week and if it's meant to be it'll happen. We'll be in that car about $1700. Seems a little high but I don't those cars at all.

That MG TD came in and it's kind of a hack. The body and frame isn't all that bad and can be restored if someone wanted to take it on, but the drive train has been replaced with a GM 153 4cyl out of an early 60's Nova, or at least that's one of the cars that used it. It's mounted in the car with the firewall cut out and random brackets holding everything but would need to be finished off. Not sure how much it matter with this car anyway and may make it a lot more reliable, who knows.
