Copart BMW finds...

Copart gets info wrong fairly often with older cars and short VINs. It's also a clean title so I think it would stay clean since it doesn't need a smog test, not sure.

A fresh start?
Exactly. I've spent 9 years investing myself in E9. Regretfully, I let that effort slip away. But I think I have it in me to graft a new butt on a coupe. It's like I've been training for this for a decade. That said, I don't know how to successfully purchase a car like this from Copart. And I don't know what it will fetch. But it makes me buzz a bit.

EDIT: It is also worth noting that this is a 2800CS, not a 3.0CSi. I am guessing that Copart doesn't really sweat the details.

This is an auction I bid at weekly. Last time it was bid to $26k in Feb. I don't have the numbers from the 2024 auction.
