Dashboard Defroster Vent Project

Would these be easier to install as separate pieces and then glued together from below the dash? The breakage of the originals comes from removal and insertion as one piece..........plus being sun-exposed for 50 years.
 
Great question, I don't think so, as space is probably small, but I leave that reply to the experts...

getting them in and out easily depends on what else you have removed, and the sequence you put them back in!! windscreen out, to remove the dash pad is the big one, from there it is just patience and time,,, as they say
 
Hello E9 friends, after a loong time, I am finally preparing to travel to Calif. around the 26th of August
and you will finally have the vents.
Will post them painted asap.

Dear vent and E9 friends,

The vents are in Calif. - 8 sets.
You are all very lucky, as costs were very high, but we stick to what we quoted.

We will NOT make anymore at this price.

In the meanwhile, my PC ate all the addresses for:

2 sets D Salazar (have it)
2 sets SF Don (have it)
1 set Michael Wenzell
1 set A. Mananian
1 set T Ferrer
1 set M. Burger

I will appreciate receiving your mailing addresses to:
alberto.guirola at gmail dot com

They will ship out on Tuesday / Wednesday, once I have all addresses, as I do not want to go twice to the USPS.
I hope no one was left out.
You will then receive the balance including shipping.
