Not gonna be a garage queen no. I tend to live to the mantra ‘drive it, break it, fix it....’!

planning on a track day or two....just gentle ones though

I have installed something called ‘lizard skin’ insulation both heat and sound..it’s a paint on application they use in the states on hot rods. Thought would be better than foam as won’t absorb moisture and have done the entire floor, firewall boot etc...

Nice one! My CSL is also Fjord, but LHD here. I had SMS duplicate the headliner fabric about 5 years ago as part of the restoration project. Glad they still have some.

Looks nice! Same color as my CSL (LHD).
Your car didn't have the Scheel fabric from new?

Can't wait for the completion!

yes, i had the scheel seat, and they are safely in my cellar..... i just fancied the leather look so got an interior from an e24 - correct sandu.

Had to take the clam shells from the back of the e24 and swap them with the clamshells from the e9

Finally got the car, but only for the weekend...! As needs to go back to body shop this week for little bits to finish.
Had a dyno test Friday/Saturday and a bit disappointed with the result. 207bhp..whilst this is the original engine it has had a complete rebuild costing quite a few quid incorporating a higher lift cam, bored to 3.2, emerald ecu and new manifold/stainless system from Fritz bits so was hopefully for 220...such is life. Maybe after running in it might gain a couple...

You drove the car about with no number plates on it lol

Side Door mirrors and decals to go on and it will make the E9 look more beautiful
