so, here is the result of the test
setup:
new points Bosch at 0,38mm result in a 36 deg. dwell angle
new plugs NGK iridium (perfect behaviour, resistive plugs are NOT a concern in my case)
Bosch TZ box + coil + resistor 0,4/0,6
started well, warm engine and fix a bit advance at 1700rpms (vacuum disconnected) until ball in window
reconnect vacuum and synchro carbs at 12kg/h at 900 rpms with a 2,8 %CO
ready to go
next day:
starts perfect from cold, warms up faster, and idles smooth at 900rpms, exhaust smoke is leaner (less smell) and colder
absolutely much more responsive, quick response to accel foot, surprised, eager to climb in rpms until cut off
drives smoother and faster
in traffic lights stays at 900 rpms Sharp
