Hey, now that you mention it, it's coming up on 25 years. Bought it in the fall of 1989 from a long defunct classic car dealer in Berkeley, Claremont Continental. I'll always remember the year, because my newly-purchased coupe was at a shop for some post-purchase repairs when the Loma Prieta quake hit. All the phones were out, so I had to worry that it had fallen off the lift for a day or so - fortunately, it hadn't.

You guys are very precise, listing month-to-date of ownership...lets see mine would be 10 years as of April this year so....10 years and 3 months as of now....

Bought mine in 1998 it had minor frontal damage and been sitting for 5 years!! Repaired it and drove it for a year, had another minor frontal accident in 1999 and hasn't been driven since!!

Only a little over 4 years (and only a little of half of that in driving condition), but planning many more years of enjoyment.

This thread, and the one about people misbehaving on the site (which I find to be one of the better car-related ones myself), both are making me feel like one of the young guys - which is much appreciated, as it's not a feeling I get much at work or home anymore. :)

I was 21 and owned my dream in early 1989.

Still (the car I mean) looking good today....
