I have two e9s, and I am selling this 2800CS in hopes of getting an Alfa 4C. It’s a 1970 2800CS, taken off the road in 1990 and stored in a garage in Glendale, CA until 2010. The car was slowly revived by an enthusiast in Santa Barbara, from whom I bought the car a few years ago. The car has 72k original miles, substantiated by the good condition of the original carpets and dash wood.
The front fenders were removed and replaced, the rockers repaired, and new floors put in with WN panels. Carl Nelson springs, genuine 16 inch Alpinas, and a brand new leather interior from GAHH along with CoCo mats. The car is an original four speed. The engine has been removed, the top end rebuilt, the engine repainted, and the engine compartment cleaned and detailed. Details like a new front kidney grill and new sun visors with pivots were attended to. The entire car was refinished in its original Tundra, and the paint is very good.
This coupe drives as it should, the 2.8 loves to rev. It feels light and agile and the ride/handling compromise is excellent.
BaT takes a while to get listings live, so look for it to show up in 4-6 weeks.

That is truly beautiful. Green cars do well on BAT and that is a gorgeous green!

YOu know the drill...tons and tons of pictures and a few videos will get maximum bids!

Curious how the front fenders were welded on. You'll want closeups if done right.

I've sold a couple cars on BaT and have done OK. In my experience, the keys to success are:

* High quality driving videos from a newish GoPro with an external audio mic (this isn't as easy as it sounds) of at least 4-10 mins in length.
* Cold start video
* Frequent communication - this will test your patience. You WILL get stupid comments from people that want to show off their ability to Google and make gross misstatements. Be patient and just ignore them. Serious buyers make very few post and will usually DM you... Though many don't to my surprise.
* An Intro STORY explaining how the came to be in your hands and why you made the choices you did on the work you did. People love a story and the more you can make them feel comfortable, the higher they will bid
* I've always STRONGLY suggested that serious bidders come see the car. Even if they don't (99.9% don't), they feel much more comfortable knowing you are completely fine with having them look at it.
* Remind folks that you are available to discuss the car via phone IF they really want to find out more. They just have to DM you. Your aren't going to start a full blown discussion about the lug nuts with some goofball in the forum.

All my 2 - cents from doing it a few times. Happy to chat if you have specific questions.

Beautiful car!

Looks great and should should quite well on BAT.
First few photos look professionally done. Trundra photographs really well. With a car as nice as yours I think paying for professional photos is well worth the expense when listing it on BAT.
And what @tferrer said!

Fenders look good. Not quite OEM-looking, but looks to be done good. Way better than that $145k Polaris one with rivets still showing on its fenders.

Hoping the 2nd high bidder on that Polaris one bids on your beautiful Tundra!

Beautiful car!

I have sold four on BaT, this will make 5 I think, but your suggestions are appreciated. My buddy who took the beauty shots probably has a go pro and we can figure out the external mike This car has a custom exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler--which looks a little cheesy but sounds great!

None of my prior buyers came to see the cars I sold! I am in kind of a remote corner of the world, although lots of people have grandmas that live in FL. But 0/4 is pretty startling. I am posting the car here so a potential buyer can have some lead time to come see it.

I sold a scruffy Giulia 1600 Alfa, a 997 911 S, a Triumph TR2, and a Mercedes 560 SEC, all on BaT with good results. I wish I had infinite space to keep them all. And time to drive them all. I am still a worker bee with lots of tuition to pay for my kids...

Looks great to me and I love green as well. So few Green BMW's.
So you sold the TR2, fun but brutal to drive. Very, very analog.
We'll be watching as I watch every coupe that sells on BAT.
Like was said.
Great photos, some video and great honesty will get you a lot.
Also posting extra photos the day before is a good idea as it drives interested to the car.
Wish you were closer and I would help with GoPro.
