Pics from a gentleman inGermany who will be listing his car. Please be respectful if it isn’t your cup of tea:

Note the little e9 bench in the back ground. Never seen that before either! :D

In Markos' very first photo I spy a rare power mirror toggle switch. Was a dealer option? Or factory? Had one in my loaded 76 Si.

It is perfectly positioned to hit my knee and knock the mirror out of view. Mine only has the stem and not the knob or whatever covered it. The picture here kind of looks like there's a knob that covers it. I've had trouble identifying the part or seeing a good representation. Am I just missing it?

If I were to try to get a decent stereo in an e9, that speaker setup -- dual angled midrange speakers in the center, tweeters on either end of the dash and presumably rear speakers on the hat shelf and a sub in the trunk firing through the armrest -- is about as good as you can do in our cars.

Of course, I don't even have a radio in my car...

I've never seen chrome gauge bezels as this CSL tribute has. Do all CSLs have that, or is that a unique detail here? :)

No, CSLs especially the Works Race CSLs have fiberglass dash and race gauges, This one has a stock looking grey interior with custom wood trim.

I applaud the effort (and $$$) it must have taken to create this CSL tribute, but I can't say I'm warm to the combination of all out race car exterior and mainly luxury interior. My hat's off to the owner though; it has to be a hoot to drive!

Looks to me like the VIN plate has gone?
Suspect this is a 'tribute' in every sense.
