that's a bit much on a golf, don't you think.
I don’t hate it! Golf is arguably a bit much to begin with. I love it but would be envious of more subdued colors.

the back seats that came with my UK CSL are trimmed like this - scheel panel pattern but all vinyl. the age, wear and known history suggest that it is original.. will be getting them retrimmed in scheel cloth in the middle but it is interesting to see a photo of a similar setupcustom back seat:
Very striking and bold. I kind of like it, if only i could go back 30 years
Today, I prefer a more sober look, matching my age!
While I don't love that it is pierced right through the beautiful wood veneer, I think it is a great idea. A more contemporary car would have a symbol on the dash that illuminates when the fogs are on. Good stuff.Anyone else have one of these? It's wired to the fog light circuit, lights up when the fog lights are on.

But that was original option in later cars - i have same one in my parts collectionI’ve seen a lot of clusters with a light much like that between the speedo and the tach, at the top of the cluster.

Interesting body work:
Unfortunate. Is that Ron Perry’s car? It didn’t look like that before but they like to feature him.
I am having a real hard time looking at the vertically oriented wood grain on the dash and doors. To my eye, it completely ruins the intent of this trim. Maybe it should be added to the "Never seen that before" thread.
Good grief! I'm already not a fan of screaming seventies colors but IMHO this makes it even worse.
No.Interesting body work:
Very cool! Race car obviously. Can you post pics of the whole car? Is it yours?Inboard rear brakes & operable side grills.
