I put in a new front wiring set (lucky find here, and two of them), and a new fuse box, and I wired based on the colored wiring diagram without a hitch.
I assume you mean my comment about being a bit more difficult? Yes, the table is easy to figure out to match color to numbers but the table includes sedans as well as coupes which threw me off a bit when I started. The 3.0 diagrams have color and size along with wire number next to each item.

Here's ( what i think is ) a relay for automatic system, located on top of the brake booster 'tube'. I did not trace the wires, just numbered them..

Here is a second relay mounted next the one just posted, on the pancake booster. marked ' Relay B' . It had wires running to the carbs, 2 to front, 2 to rear.
Is this the "choke" relay?

Help needed for a 74. Here is the pic posted earlier but recently modified. However, several wires don't match the diagram, close but not quite. I want to get this right and comparing to 74 owners manual I have which a 3/74 CK reprint it has the correct 74 table with a pre-74 diagram! Can anyone shoot several good pics and write down colors, I need to see all wires.

This is the choke relay, wires are green/white, black, brown/black, green/blue. I need a photo where relay is clean and wire colors are visible hopefully.

I believe so. Wires are black (4), brown/black (1). Like the choke relay I need clear pics as installed with colors visible. This helps a lot, thank you!

More help needed for a 74 coupe. This pic shows relays 4, 5 and 6 as I call them. Four is wiper, five (orange) is load shed, but 6 (small black one) is new to me and not on any diagram. Could it be for electric sunroof? Please reply only if you have this relay, providing wire colors would be awesome!

Choke,
I did not have a relay.
Wires from carbs went into the main loop and into fuse #7

Neutral Safety Switch Auto Transmission.

Same looking relay as the A/C relay, but with a reverse function. It took me a long time to figure out.

The resistor for the auto indicator lights that was originally be hind the pedals was repositioned for easier access due it getting hot. I replaced the resistor inside and wanted to keep it at an arms lenght.

Merdad, Thank you very much, great to see under dash relay area, you have the wiper and load shed relay, plus hazard on column. I never knew the auto lock out relay had a resistor either. I can definitely use these.
you are welcome, it ultimately benefits all of us.
My 2800 has only three relays Under dash. Plus if A/C is used, another under fuse block.

Yes. What I now find interesting is that 1970 2800CS has two relays to control wipers where your 71 has the 3.0CS style single large relay. I will show both versions of course.

And don't forget I have the speed control on the console.

Wiper relay should be green/black (2), brown/red, black/violet, black/blue, black/red, brown (2), brown/black (2), can you confirm?
