Pierburg pump - yay or nay?

There is an old blog somewhere by Leslie Wong on how he put in an electric pump in his E3, step by step, detailed.

Thanks for all the input, everyone. I’ll have to do some thinking. The FI head already has the old pump port blocked off, which is nice but not really a big deal. If I can isolate the sound I wouldn’t mind an electric pump. Just want to make sure it’s able to have the right (low) psi.
The pump I referenced is the correct low pressure pump for Weber carbs. I've been running this pump for years now. My pump is attached to the rear subframe using rubber isolation mounts, toward the outside near the location where the rear pushrod and subframe bushing attach to the subframe. It is very quiet.

I replaced my old Pierburg fuel pump with a new one (Mechanical Pierburg again) while troubleshooting what ended up being a different problem. Right away I started getting vapor lock. Put my old Pierburg back and the vapor lock went away.
