I’ll give ya’ll the spring combinations after a few of the votes are in.

Have fun.

I hope the information on springs/spring rubbers will be helpful for others.

RP

yep, the wheels need more lug nuts.

No. 1 reminds me of the Rake on my hotrod '56 Chevy

No. 2, blah

No. 3 The best of the bunch

#1 too low especially in back
#2 a bit high up front
that leaves #3, though I'd be concerned when turning into driveways
My thoughts exactly. Thanks all for your votes!

If this will help, here are the parts used:
1 : Nelson rear spring, no rubber. Factory spring up front, one coil cut, top and bottom rubber, 1/2” total.

2: Nelson front and rear, with top and bottom rubbers on both (1/2“total rubber).

3: Factory rear, one coil cut, both rubbers, 1/2”.
Factory front, one coil cut, rubbers removed.

Like Forrest Gump, I’m tired now, I think I’ll go home.
I‘m going to leave it at picture 3 height.

Hope this may help someone with a future build.

What Tyson said... cut stock is stiff but not a good choice for a street car. The best choice for chassis tuning flexibility are coil-overs front and rear.
Requires a bit of modification but not difficult. Sway bar dimensions become more important, too.

@tferrer , did you swap to the springs I included, or go with a different set? Did you keep the camber plates? Looks good!

Thanks guys, your discussion and experiences in spring selection are part of the reason for this post.

Stock/cut is where I’m at today, but can make changes as needed.

Please, please post your pictures with stance/ride height to help me get all learned-up.

Thanks in advance.

Yup, that pic is pre swap of the cut springs. Once I started driving it it dropped even more as the rubber spring bases started to fall apart and the bases were already the thinnest ones made. I basically stopped driving it because it felt like it was running on the stops almost. No compliance at all. I got the H&R progressives and Spax adjustable and have only done one drive. Love the compliance but the front springs are loud due to spring binding with the coils so close. Trying to figure out next steps. Here's the stance now. Probably at least 1.25 inches higher but a world of difference in ride quality... Sans the front spring noise...

Thanks Tferrer. Got any pictures from the side with your set-up?

Thanks, again.

Beautiful car.

No, not directly. I just got everything on so its still settling in. It drives much better than before with just the cut springs...
