Funny! I was under the impression that Steve’s garage is mostly a triage room and the serious e9 work happens in the kitchen.
Got together with Stevehose, HBChris, Dohn Roush, and two other NOLA coupe owners for a driving tour to Oak Alley Plantation. Did the house tour and had lunch then drove back to the hotel to clean Athena some more.

I havent done anything to my e9 except go on the tour today. I am looking at a dirty car, a glass of wine, and a concours to enter tomorrow with no desire to clean it.

Today is day one... I paid for it and started moving bits!
BMW CCA Oktoberfest Concours was today. Athena won 3rd in Clean Classic, People's Choice and the Parker Spooner Award!
Parker was from Boston Area and BMWCCA member #5, past president of the CCA, Roundel editor, one of the founders of the CCA and lover of e9 coupes. He passed away in the late 80s. The award is given annually, in Parker's memory at Octoberfest, for the best performance by a 2800cs or 3.0cs.
After the awards all the coupes gathered for a group picture.
