Wow. My method in more simple… Im using Archicad.

Yeah, the benefit of this approach is that you can name each wire, and if you move things around onthe diagram, the wires stay attached. The down side is that you have to create every component and each component needs one "pin" for every wire that connected to it. So in many cases in my diagram you may see components that have a bunch of pins thatare connected together. These are the same as those point inthe BMW diagram where multiple wires connect to the same point on a component.
It is a PCB design program, so how I am using it is a bit unusual.

I'm checking that the diagram corresponds to the wiring, I've found several differences, but this is the biggest one...
My car it is a 3.0 CS 74 with the defroster switch in the middle console, window automatic cut out (2)

I checked my 72 diagram, and noticed that three green and red wires attach to the same terminal of the switch 64. The wire numbers are different, but one goes to the light switch 63, one goes to the reversing light plug 34, and one goes to fuse 2. There is another green and red wire that goes from Fuse 2 to the fog lamp plug, and from there to the side lamp connector (87 in my diagram), and from there to the license plate lamps. Seems like the key is that the Green and Red wire goes from fuse 2, and it gets distributed to various places, usually via double terminal connections to a connector. Fuse 2 is energized by the main light switch.
