I know the metal caps and chrome lug nuts is correct and looks great. Just wondered what the all black look would look like with these wheels. Agree the chrome prob looks better.
i think Coupeking sells the best version - straight hex nuts with a slightly rounded cap.Great idea. I’ll get a set and see how that looks!
@Keshav A normal Alpina or fps wheel needs a conical seat into the wheel, these look straight?Unfortunately NO ONE makes the original style Alpina lug nuts……or I haven’t ever come across them.
This earlier style 3 piece Alpina rim had straight inserts to match the unique bolts……that changed with the later style Alpina (3 piece) with the conical inserts…… the replica centers can be had in both versions.@Keshav A normal Alpina or fps wheel needs a conical seat into the wheel, these look straight?
i haven't seen them either ... quite the shame as they look greatUnfortunately NO ONE makes the original style Alpina lug nuts……or I haven’t ever come across them.
i know ... just busting your chops for the comedic factor@rsporsche: I am driving in an limited 80 km/h area (see yellow stripes/construction site). Mobile phone in one hand, trying to focus while trying to keep the E9 on track.. Maybe I was at 160 km/h 5 minutes later - but too risky to take a foto than.
1-- Very nice wheels! 2--Where did you get a LHD wood dash grab rail?? That is the piece that really finishes the wood trim.Took Jbbrjaw for a spin on the new 16x7 and 16x8 custom Alpina 3 piece wheels and enjoyed the awesome stereo after listening to the beautiful engine.
Note the rare original Alpina center cap with the small carb velocity stacks.Unfortunately NO ONE makes the original style Alpina lug nuts……or I haven’t ever come across them.
And round clear protective film can be applied to (mostly) keep that from happening. I have that on all my cars (including the new ones).Flat Hellas are still available
