What did you do to your E9 today?

I know the metal caps and chrome lug nuts is correct and looks great. Just wondered what the all black look would look like with these wheels. Agree the chrome prob looks better.

Final flock touch up

Finally found a master megasquirt runner to finish my tune of my Metric Mechanic 3.7L M30B35 Rally Race motor with 50mm ITBs (Racehead Engineering) with EFI and Megasquirt Gen2MSPNP ECU. Thanks to Jess Prather Motorsports in Topeka KS. Purring like a hot rod kitten !!

@Keshav A normal Alpina or fps wheel needs a conical seat into the wheel, these look straight?
This earlier style 3 piece Alpina rim had straight inserts to match the unique bolts……that changed with the later style Alpina (3 piece) with the conical inserts…… the replica centers can be had in both versions.

@rsporsche: I am driving in an limited 80 km/h area (see yellow stripes/construction site). Mobile phone in one hand, trying to focus while trying to keep the E9 on track. :). Maybe I was at 160 km/h 5 minutes later - but too risky to take a foto than.
i know ... just busting your chops for the comedic factor

Took Jbbrjaw for a spin on the new 16x7 and 16x8 custom Alpina 3 piece wheels and enjoyed the awesome stereo after listening to the beautiful engine.
1-- Very nice wheels! 2--Where did you get a LHD wood dash grab rail?? That is the piece that really finishes the wood trim.

Removed the scuff mark on my right rear trim piece with 220 then 800 wet sandpaper and Flitz polish on the bare aluminum.
The pics show the before and after. How the trim got scuffed is a mystery. The compound curve edge at the end of the trim piece is slightly changed, but the polished look is better than the scuff.

Flat Hellas are still available
And round clear protective film can be applied to (mostly) keep that from happening. I have that on all my cars (including the new ones).
Lamin-x sells material in kits pre-cut to various shapes and sizes. Pretty easy to install.
It may not protect the lens against all impacts, but it does reduce the chance of having one break the lens....
