My BMW journey has begun

The only thing holding my driver's door panel together is the trim and the vinyl. I don't think this will buff out.

Which padding is that? For the felt along the inside of the door trim I just bought some grey felt and cut it to fit. If you have door panels off you may also want to put sound deadening onto the inner side of the door skin. I painted the whole inside with the rust bullet paint as protectant and then applied sound deadening panels. There is also Lizard Skin paint that has some sound deadening qualities

Not sure exactly what it was. I will definitely take a look inside the bottom of the doors for rust. If I don't see any rust I will spray with cavity wax. Good call on the sound deadening material

That would be great but there is already a crack starting. Bending it back will surely make the crack worse. I'm looking for nice replacement.
