Robert, thank you for the compliment. I may go the 3M/Expel route this time around. I have ordered another air dam so I'll have one ready to swap out if the one on the car suffers catastrophic damage.

Removed the air dam this morning so I can deliver it to VSR. Took 1.5 hours. Had to loosen the bumper to get clearance for the air dam screws. One of the nuts had galled to the carriage bolt and put up a fight, yet we prevailed. Couldn't remove one of the carriage bolts on the passenger side yet had enough room the remove the air dam screws. I'll clean off all the dirt that was uncovered. Assembly will be a royal pain, always is. Fender liners are visible below the valence.
I am late to this thread. I wish I had discovered it earlier as I am about to embark on many of the items listed here. This should be required reading for any new members with unrestored vehicles

Andrew, would those be Lokari fender liners?
Yes. They work great and advise everyone to put them on their coupe.
i have a set of them and after i finish the other work ... they are going in.
I'm wondering to avoid paint damage on the airdam, would it be out of place to have the texture on it like the rear valance has? Or a "clear bra"?

Going with a plastic coat like Expel this time.
Finally removed the bumper today and did a cursory cleaning. Air dam and bumper will be reinstalled in May in time for The Vintage in Asheville May 17-20 2018.

My front bumper was so difficult to get on (ask HBChris) that I never want to take it off again.
More difficult with the air dam on.

I'm going to guess the wires feed the driving lights on the bumper, and are just hanging in limbo in this pic.?.

Taking Vern to Pittsburgh for the 2002 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Fog lamp wires, tucked them so they weren't just hanging.
Cleaned the bugs, grass, hay and leaves out of the radiator from 2016 & 2017 from driving over 16K miles. Was getting ready to get out the dental tools for the sand and grit, maybe another day.
Athena's air dam has been painted and Expel clear bra applied, second air dam is also having Expel applied. Installing air dam is easy, bumper is a 3-4 man job which takes about 45 minutes.
