Does cerakote need to be baked after shooting? Cathy is not a fan of car parts in the oven (and alas, it did not occur to me to ask her opinion before I started baking a set of e39 headlights so as to soften the adhesive so I could get them open).
Susan has told me in no uncertain terms that the ovens and warming oven are off limits to car parts. I was looking at the Cerakote website this morning after I found @HB Chris 's update and it looks like heat treatment is necessary for the higher temperature resistant products.Does cerakote need to be baked after shooting? Shawn and I had crackers, carrots, humus and a glass of red blend from Roblar in Santa Ynez.Looks great Chris. Relax with a cold Sculpin near the fire pit!
Chris. I assume the paint from the shop is base and you are following up with a clear coat?!Remove everything, sand with 120 grit and/or a scuff pad, etching primer on any bare spots, wipe down with Prepsal, mask and shoot. A local paint shop put the Chamonix in rattle cans which are fine for engine bay and trunk.
Can you weld in space?I need welding lessons from your son. Those welds are sweet. Car looking great.
He wears flip flops everywhere and his t-shirts typically have many holes from burning sparks!I thought I was the only person that welded in thongs
How many times have you done the 'hot hot, burnies dance?'
I'm thinking if you need to weld on your spacecraft, whilst in outer space, you are in deep kimchee. But Drew probably has practiced this. Can you weld in space?
They are OCEAN-approved and I restored my whole coupe wearing flip-flops.But are they OSHA-approved flip-flops?
