you say that, but worldwide there were 30,500+ e9 coupes made. the fact that there were 31 colors utilized across the range. some of the rarest colors areBut the cars shown are repaints, not original...
Anyway, I think too many colors were used for a car made in relatively low numbers.
Yes! But I think there are a few colors I would have skipped, and others that are awesome and should have been used more. Alfa Romeo GTAs I hear came in just two colors. Jaguar E type close to 40 colors...you say that, but worldwide there were 30,500+ e9 coupes made.

Erik, My car was painted Turkis with the help of Jon and Paul getting me the correct Glasurit paint. The metallic color has what's called 'The flop". It's blue in the shade and green in the sun. The camera or a monitor can't duplicate the color. The only true color is seeing it in person. The picture in the video is way off the true color. The Coupe in the museum is the correct Turkis.Cool overview.
I linked it in the FAQ section as well.
Is the Turkis a correct representation? (1:33)
I thought it was more greenish.
Isn't the one in the bmw Museum Turkis?
anthrazit grau is a fascinating color, but way too modern for the date of e9s
Im not with you.
I got a Mercedes from 1969 in anthracite metallic and that is looking fantastic.....
I would love it, when my e9 has the same color.

Oh don’t get me wrong… I love a white car. Hence the reason I am doing a color (colour in the rest of the world) change on my E9. A great majority of my DD cars have been white.
I think the two e9 colors that fascinate me are Turkis and Ceylon. Just such interesting shades.
