Hello
I understood the pastiguage I will try to get one
Do you think that the old oil pickup that I have adapted on my b35 could create an oil pressure problem?
how to test an oil pump?

Oil pump test
How’can you explain this ?
I would try to somehow attach a drill to a sprocket and spin the oil pump or the chain and stick the pick up in oil to make sure it’s at least functioning … it might be different if there’s pressure so try and have someone block the oil pressure hole with their finger if it’s good oil should come out reguardless, also make sure when you tighten the pick up you do it very evenly

I opened the oil pump that was on my engine, I consider it dead
to try to understand what is it that there is no oil pressure, but I did not see anything obvious .. so I guess it is simply too much play between the gears , and a lack of tightness at the level of the relief valve piston
so i need a new pump..

I saw that there is a long collection with a valve also, do you think that it is an additional safety to maintain the oil pressure?
on the picture I have the bottom model, the top one looks better ??

Good evening
I am waiting for a new oil pump, pick up and filter pan so I have to dismantle the crankcase
I took the opportunity to take the measurement of the crankshaft on a connecting rod: 47.97 that seems good what do you think?
the bearings are like new they did not have time to suffer from the lack of oil pressure
I took a lever and I moved the crankshaft back and forth and there is (axial) play is this normal?

This is the axial play numbers for the M30B28/B30, don't know if it's the same play on a B35.
