I want to see this car on the course at the Historic Mallorca Rally ... (and someday I'd love to bring my car to Europe and just drive a few rally courses for the experience..)
meanwhile last rally did show me perfect constant AFR's .... vents on the carbs seem to have solved the strange behavior.
Still 2 "richer" plugs then the rest .... i could further only suspect misfires with the "old" plug wires , so have now new set mounted for rally this weekend.
Last rally in Dinant , Belgium... finaly a dry one ... fun !
another great rally in dry ,sunny weather ! Still plugs 3&4 to rich , to found out fuel level was way to high in that carb ....must have had a big shock to bend that tab that much !
Last special stage we smelled fuel , and see fuel spraying on the windshield.... to found a banjo bolt loose on one of the carbs.... was a quick fix . Lucky it didn't ignite .... Have now ordered some alu laser parts to safety wire those 4 bolts .
