So we know... 83 533i m30b32 has the bypass valve.
Well today only got a couple things done.
One was that I fabricated the passenger side motor mount.
We’ll see how this design works.

Well with the oil pump and pick up being in.
And the Oil pan being on.
Motor mounts are on.
Accessories bracket is on.
Throttle linkage is on. Next change the flywheel.
Will it at least get in the hole today???

Great job. For me it is always a bit intimidating turning the key for the first time, did I screw something up.
When I sat in my car I literally grabbed the key and right before turning it said, "Aaaa, maybe I should grab the fire extinguisher".
For me too...but then there is that big feeling of accomplishment when it actually starts and runs (well, most of the time anyway
)
Well it was the bracket for the kick down cable for an automatic bw65. Not needed now. It’s just there.
Exhaust finally on. And first valve adjustment.
Caught the pickup going 75.... or so....(lol) at the entry ramp....slowed me up. Lol. Probably a good thing.
