On our last BMW-meeting in Atzenbrugg/Austria there was a very nice CSL in ceylon with a strut bar .

I will try to rebuild them on my CNC-milling machine to make a pattern, is there any interest ? :?: :?:

Count me in if it will fit with dual weber cards and a stock air filter...
If you have the Jam Engineering adaptors I think you will find that the air filter is too close to the firewall and the strut bar will not fit.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your reply. I've already tried other strut bars and experienced this conundrum with the 38/38 carbs and the stock air-filter.

Can you or anyone recommend recommend a work-around solution...?

Thanks,

Chuck

Mario at VSR cut a notch into the back of my aircleaner housing and welded the patch in to accomodate the bar.
