Strut bar.......

Surface treatment : plates are black anodized, rod is brushed stainless steel, all other parts galvanized

I deliver the strutbar with untreated plates, you can leave them untreated, powder coat in any colour or paint with lacquer.........

The CSL hood support is needlessly complicated, therefore I will make the corrections on the casting mold

The pedestal for the rod is optional, only for those who need the CSL hood support, the engraving too

If you feel in your email for more details and costs.

Still in progress ! I was on vacation, now I´m still searching for a foundry to make the plates. The problem is the price, delivery time and the correct material.
I try to make 30 sets.........

My search for a foundry is finished, thank God, yesterday I found a plant!
They will make me the 30 sets, in suitable material for a fair price in a reasonable time.
It will took more or less 6 weeks to held them in hand, so the complete machining maybe ready before X-mas..........

Next question is the shipping...........to find a facile solution for such a bulky parcel, because I will try to make a all-round carefree package, with the pre-assembled strutbar ready to mount.......

I'll still keep you informed. ;-)

I was just wondering about this a couple of hours ago!! Good luck with the foundry.

That's great news. Thanks for doing this. Questions:

1. What is the material for the mount ? (the section which is bolted to the shock towers). It almost looks porous.

2. For shipping, I highly recommend not using DHL. Having run logistics for companies in the US (think millions of units shipped), I have never had a good experience using them.

Thanks again.

@David :
The last foundry made the casting with coarse-grained sand, its not porous, only rough. The new manufacturer promised me to use oiled sand, to make the surface much smoother.

The company, where i do my job, has a own shipping department. I will ask the young lady if she knows a solution for my problem ;-)

@bwalvoord : I count you in, I know from experience a few will opt out....
