I didn't use the dealer material. I had searched and found this vinyl at some online supplier and I had them send me a sample so I could compare to the few bits of original vinyl that was still remaining in my trunk area. My PO had removed most of the original and had installed a gray felt like covering that was soiled and had to go.
I felt that this vinyl texture and color seemed close enough for me and it was a huge improvement over the prior felt covering. The 5 yards of material cost me under $100. I will need to look for the link since I did this last year and will post when I find it.

I finished my light conversion from having aging mismatched Hella/Cibie low and high beams to a set of NOS Marchals to match my driving lights. While in there I polished the chrome light surrounds and cleaned the grills, waxoiled every crevice possible again, and polished and repainted the center grill. Marchal fetish satisfied:

My CS has been getting harder to shift over the past couple of months.
I finally had time to look underneath.
The transmission mount rubber was completely gone.
I had a extra and put it in.
Everything else looked fine.
Shift great now, easy to get into second and fouth now that everything is where it should be.
Lucky it was an easy fix, and I caught it before it damaged the guibo or anything else.

Worked on the new EFI set up, inc new custom throttle linkage
Purchased the MS software as well as Serial to USB cable. Also splurged on the serial to Bluetooth adapter so I can run the digital dash app on an android tablet once it's all up and running.
Also got an email today that the staggered 16's from Mario are almost ready to mount.

Fouled the Plugs
I rode an emotional roller-coaster unlike anything I've experienced in a long time. Laptop and MS Tuner in hand, I went to the shop with Le Don on speed dial ready to fire up my German mistress for the first time.
All wires connected, software loaded.
Nothing.
Oh wait, try turning the car on! Wonderful.
Don sent me a baseline msq file and after walking me through some of the basic configurations, we now got to work on the warm-up settings.
Check, Check, Check.
Nervous as hell I turned the key (damn that was a lot harder than I remember) and she fired right up, although things went straight south from there.
Exhaust quickly started filling the garage (vent pipe apparently slipped off the exhaust tip) and amidst all of the confusion, I misinterpreted the AFM readings and sent the map in the wrong direction.
You guessed it. Way too much fuel from the 26 lb injectors and absolutely soaked the plugs.
So, we'll try again tomorrow with new plugs (pulled them all and will let it air out) and a little tighter sphincter.

Software is the root of all evil. Nothing is ever finished or complete.

Painted the rear calipers a very nice gold. The next step is new seals, pistons, and pads, and then reinstallation.

Since the exhaust system was out of the coupe, I painted it with POR-15 manifold grey.

Fired mine up on MS as well, had a few issues along the way with 1 of the 3 coils being faulty and burning up, should be running on all 6 by the end of the week as soon as I get the replacement.

Working on getting my other rear window working for Legends next month. Regulator is out, and half cleaned up. Tomorrow I'll finish cleaning and regreasing it.
