What did you do to your E9 today?

Made some rinky dink rocker panel studs.
Thanks HBChris for the idea.

Installed euro side marker lights.Thank you Scott (rsporsche) for the parts and the inspiration to keep the project going.

Would you believe I had installed the others backasswords? Geez.

Not my engine, it is Brendon’s. But I ordered some of those fancy velocity stack air screens today.

Engine Jewelery at $240 for 6 pieces.

Installed the Uroparts Mercedes style door brakes, plug and play, really nice smooth operation, happy wife. Won’t be hearing “your car’s door is trying to cut my leg off” any more.

Drilled holes in bottom rocker trim to reinstall rocker trim . To the right of the hole was the cover to the previous mounting hole. (I thought the completed car would look better without trim. It doesn’t.)

Project “ Two Step” continues.

Cut the studs off the back of the rocker panel trim pieces.

Thanks HBChris for the cautionary tip that the studs might be too long and hit the body.
They did, now they don’t.
