Always like to see folks practice responsible clamping...
Thanks Patton, the topside is a work in progress , a holdup with the interior, engine bay also needs work, But! heading in the right direction.Burky, beautiful undercarriage. What does the top of your car look like?
Thanks again Patton, it is hard to see the colour of the finish on the valve cover, it is a very dark blue/grey with a silver flek and it goes very well [I think] with the Polaris SilverBurky, that engine compartment looks good to me.
Matches the underside, immaculate. The photographs are inspirational.
Love the wrinkle paint on the valve cover!

Waiting to hear how the trim adhesive works out. In theory it seems vastly superior to the little screws/nuts. Are doing full length adhesive tape or many short segments? Is the tape thin enough to keep the trim tight up against the body?
Note the lift at the center of the picture
You are missing the piece that joins these together.

That one picture may have summed up the questions that many of us have had about why the the engineers/designers at bmw decided to stop the trim at the rear quarter...and why the trim doesn't continue across the trunk lid...
