What did you do to your E9 today?

Converted my blast cabinet to allow for vapor honing. Blasted an extra power steering pulley and reservoir, prior to sending out for powder coat. There were some stubborn, pitted areas that needed some more attention. Now ordering some garnet blasting media to allow for more aggressive cleaning as well as some finer mesh glass beads to allow for a finer finish on aluminum parts.

This weekend I shuffled the car out of the garage. Moved all my e9 parts out of the deepest part of my storage pod and into the e9 garage. Filled the car with parts to save space. I’ve got a lot of lumber in the stall so I’ll have more room in the future. Will need to move crap around later for electrical, insulation, and drywall.

Was hoping the motor would start on its own but after about 45 seconds I got lazy and used starting spray.

Does the Phill Collins lyric apply:
"Don't do as I do but do as I say"?

I needed to pull the washer jets out, and do not have the space to flip the hood upside down, so I needed to reach up 2 meters up & in the middle above the car.
Gently does it, and the frame rails and strut towers are nice and strong.

No e9 was harmed during the making of this picture....

Back when I stored my car at another location, I had a tire rack up on the wall above the engine compartment. For a few seasons I stood in a similar way on the shock towers, etc. to swap out summer and winter tires. Sorry, no pictures of me in the act.

You can see the tire rack in the upper left hand corner of this photo.

I hope your location is free from earthquakes and free from different vibrations (even from the road near by).

I have an accident where the toolbox shelf has fallen down on my E30 ... You picture makes me scare again of the E9 below the rack

The e9 is no longer under the rack. However, I have a similar rack in Raven's Nest where I have a 1600 parked under it. o_O I don't think the wheels are going anywhere.

Nice! I see plenty room there to stash a few classified documents :).
