I awoke my car from a four year slumber and found the clutch pedal had no action. The brakes are fine though the fluid reservoir was almost empty. Clearly the clutch slave is leaking. I chose to use the method referred elsewhere here to push the new fluid into the system via the slave bleeder. The port on the bleeder was gunked iup so I had to clean it first and then the rest was a breeze. Now she's ready for a truck ride to Austin and our new

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing you, Terry Sayther and the rest again. We moved from Austin 4 years ago and are now returning to the same street. Tim Higgins will be our neighbor again.

My oil cap started to leak after removing it for the annual oil & filter change(2500 miles). The cap has been satin chrome plated and is worth saving. I bought gasket material at the local auto shop and cut out a piece to lay over the rubber seal. The oil leak problem is now solved.
I have enough gasket material to make about a thousand of these donuts. If anyone needs a piece, send me a PM. You can have a piece or two for a self-addressed stamped envelope.

i went by the painter's shop today to see my car / prod the painter ... and much to my surprise, the final slick coat had been put on, the doors and lids were painted, the openings were all cut in ... and should be painted in the next week. the ceylon is looking gorgeous.
