Today I removed seats and carpets:

I drove seats to auto fabrics shop to have them repaired and replace upholstery. Also they will make me new floor carpets and trunk carpet.

I removed heater box and heater core.

Heater core is leaking and there is to much rust to seal it so I will source where they will replace cell core.

Also I removed differential since it was very loud... hopefully new bearings will solve the problem

Next week engine bay will be sorted out and resprayed. Kind of strange that I want to have engine bay done first since entire car should be repainted due to VERY bad paint job. But i will try to source out all the parts new or in nice condition (mouldings, grills, trimm, embelems, seals...) first and than have it done. Meanwhile I will enjoy and drive it a bit.

I cleared the snow off of the car cover. Horrors! Austin hasn't seen this much snow in years. Really.

The Boxster is back in the garage because it developed a leak in the aluminum coolant pipes. The youthful previous owner left it full of water, not coolant and corrosion set in while it sat for years. Anyway, parts will be procured today so it will be fixed and out of the garage, soon. Really, really.

Friday I did an impromptu drive from New Orleans to Perdido Key, FL. In snow. That was a first! The heater bypass was disengaged and old girl handled it with aplomb.

But beautiful dry, clear weather Sat and Sun and she dried out nicely:

My covers aren's as sexy as OCCoupes. I just disconnect Athena's battery for prolonged storage. Note, Athena's air dam has been removed for it's 7th painting.

Looks lovely.

It's better for the battery to keep it on a tender but in the case of megasquirt it's better for the ecu to keep it plugged in.

RTHLSS, It looks like you are doing a great build- I'm thinking you should start a thread in the projects & Restorations section and keep adding to it so we can all see the start-to-finish work. It's super helpful for this knucklehead :)
