Where did you drive your coupe today?

On the way to Ft Bragg, CA on Hwy 29 via Lake Berryessa and Capay Valley. Fun roads. All was goin well until it didn't. Vacation was salvaged, but had a very different vibe, sound and fuel consumption rate. Oh well, hope to get her back for Xmas....

years ago i drove some of the roads north of Uvalde and along the Neuces river ... which i think is what 335 follows before it crosses hwy 55. fun roads in that part of TX

Spent the morning buying fine wines in the market in València (Albariño and Tempranillo) and the afternoon getting speeding tickets on the way to Barcelona…. Oh whoops

Jesus- how much for 140 in a 80?

I think this one may hurt….

oh oh, Albariño is a white wine from galicia, in this case the name of the wine coincides with the name of the grape
tempranillo is a type of grape; i wonder which type of wine did you bought, could be a ribera de duero or rioja, or maybe other

140 in 80 limit area is critical, good that you are not at 160 , that would be the limit from administrative sanction to penal considertion of the fault

in a 80 limited zone:
140 is 400€ and 4 points
141 is 500€ and 6 points less (total is 12)
a spaniard will also have points removed from the license

Don, whenever you come to ATL, if you really like Muga, i have a 2006 Muga Aro to share with you. its really great with black mission figs, stuffed with Point Reyes blue cheese and wrapped in Serrano jamon (of course fresh figs are a very limited time frame). going to have some figs tonight with sauteed shrimp and a spinach salad

Took a little drive to a place called FredNeck's in Eastern WA yesterday, great place on the plains with awesome atmoshphere, food, locals were cool and a pool table. That's Allen that a lot of people from Seattle know shooting pool, he has a few BMW's but known for his Verona (I believe) 2002 w/ a S14 motor. Not a bad pool player either. Also with me was the Prez of the Inland Empire Chapter BMW CCA. Great guy, Michael.

Then had to stop at the local golf course on the way home. Fun day! Getting some driving in before Old Man Winter hits!

I guess the story on the name of the place was the original owner was a guy named Fred. His wife told him he was sticking his neck out in opening the bar there and it better do well, it's a super small town. I am ad libbing a bit, but it is a very successful place and I think has changed owners since.

Car looks great! Ha, great to see Alan. I think I was there when he won that T-shirt at BMW of Salem many moons ago.

The coupe looks great.
Thanks for the pictures and story. Really cool.
I cannot escape wondering if there is a bar and story around Lorena Bobbitt in Virginia...

Drove herr to the fuel station and give her the first fill after restoration.
Drives well only the fuel gauge don't show the fill.

that is very nice,
do you get attention from other drivers in germany?
i mean elder drivers coming and telling you that they owned one back in the seventies

how is the weather treating you? i see dry roads

BTW, i went today for a short drive, last one was one week ago with 20ºC, today only 10ºC, in between more than 200 litres/m2 of rain in my place

Weather was good today, no rain.
Got around 15 C° today.

Get absolutley no attention today what makes me wonder. Normally with the Benz it happen all the time.....

However nice absolute trouble free ride, for a complete knock down (w/o engine) car, not bad at all, I think
