Times are tough, restoration are expensive, (geez how would I know that...) it's Christmas. I would contribute $20.00 to a "let's help Alan get Blue Bird started and running" fund! Anyone else in? Alan what's your paypal?

OH MY GOSH THIS IS TOO AMAZING
CAN I REALLY ACCEPT THIS ?
IM SURE I CAN FIND THE MONEY.
how could i repay your kindness?
prayers go quite a way for me!

got a call from bill and it seems he setting this thing up completely amazing.
this guy really knows his stuff. he mentioned that the air meter ox sensor i have the aem guage working in one part of the exhaust wasn't the optimum setup as he would only be able to monitor
3 cylinders. so he had me get another for the other three so he can set up 3 cylinders at a time.
he said with one the engine would only perform at half top performance.
amazing. he hopes to have it running by new years eve.
we will see. got my hopes up to test it out.

Hmm this isn't something that I've considered. I bought a wideband gauge but haven't purchased the controller yet. Your headers are pretty short so you could mount a single bung at the collector, which would keep you from running two. I think it is pretty uncommon to run two sensors, and it is a costly affair to buy another controller. Since I have long tubes I'll need to figure out what spot works best. The important thing is to be in front of the cat, but I have no cat. I've read 24" but that won't get me reading both sides. Thanks for raising the issue!

i dont think you know what your talking about here markos
as it doesnt work that way
the best way is one for each cylinder
as the air pressure in each cylinder will vary if even a little
this guy works on nothing but race cars and knows what hes doing - all race cars have the option to configure each cylinder to get the optimum / maximum air flow ratio.
with the computer you dial in each cylinder

Haha Ok. I guess I should have done more research before ordering my AEM gauge. Go ahead and have Bill drill six holes in your primaries and weld on six AEM wideband bungs. :D
