4310316 begins

ill use the chrome ring one that matches the other fog lights and light switch
set it with some weatherstrip adhesive for easy removal later
when i set up the glove box it hit the kick panel and the ac panel weird
so anyway i secured the back of the kick panel with another grommet and screw
looks factory
and there is a 1/2" wide piece of wood around the vent opening on ac panel
so i slit the vinyl at the top back and trimmed the wood about 1/8"
now its clear -reset the vinyl with gorilla spray adhes good as new
actually tighter
i ground off the extra lengths on the hose clamps so there isnt that ugly tail sticking out

have a backup oem cig liter laying around so i cleaned it up and
while im refurbishing, i added it to the back of the armrest,
provided by another member here, it came black pressboard and i covered it with matching leather,
so i can use it to keep the phone charged on lsd .
also i have an extra lighter to keep inside ,while not in use
also if you need to touch up your leather
leathermagic match my color perfectly with there dye
so i can make all blemishes disappear.
as you can see at the leather edges.

need money to take to shop 3k
maybe get away with 2k as i did all the electrical checking and imput the data to the link software to take along on a stick

as my car sat for about 2-3 years -all my exposed nuts and bolts in the engine bay
rusted. - so i had to remove everything and wire wheel em and the reset
this time i got a small bottle of clear coat with a brush and covered all the exposed and steel
hardware. now no more rust ever.
im ready to set the underdash panels now thats everything is all wire tied neatly

never ends-
so this weekend im going to refigure the battery cd in the trunk
go figure i got two optiminm yellow batteries and both failed
anyway i need to get a redtop and ill use onereplaced yellow as backup for starting.
which means i need to make a larger battery box to hang from the shelf.
found two or three 1/8" rust bubbles on the top inside of the hood
so cleaned and set por on em.
redid my wiper motor and the grease always goes to the top away from the gear
so i set a piece of cellophane foam around the gear and spindle to keep the grease where it belongs
redid the valve cover motorsport colors-trimmed vinyl stick on striping w/ wurth rubber glue

wired tied all the water hoses up where there supposed to be
and started the throttle linkage .
needed to add the two ports as there behind it.
set the throttle cruise lines and put the other ports on
engine bay is pretty much done together.

WAS GOING TO MAKE A BATTERY CASE YET FOUND THIS ONE ESP. FOR THE OPTIMA
SO ILL MOUNT IT SIDE UP ,SHOULD WORK OUT WELL.

what a monster the darn battery weighs 40 lbs or more and i couldnt get in there to lift it easily so went the pyramid way
set the bracket with beveled head phillips so they were flat and it worked out fairly well
glad i got the bracket its heavy duty. had to use a scissor jack to hold the bracket in place and tighten

I should clarify. I am just imagining a golf bag, or cooler, or piece of luggage bumping into that battery and its exposed/unprotected terminals and either shorting out in a flash of glory, or punching the terminals through the plastic top, releasing the gel all over the trunk (and your clubs).

i'm afraid it will take more than 2 batteries to start that "racing " engine :D o welll, lets hope for the best....

YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE BATTERIES STARTING THE ENGINE
AS ONE BARELY MAKES IT CLICK
ILL HAVE TO BUY A COUPLE OF SEARS DIE HARDS
WHICH ARE THE KILLER BATTERIES
THAT WILL HAVE TO WORK
ILL USE THREE TO BEGIN WITH IM THINKIN WHEN WE GO TOSTART IT
ILL TOW IT TO KICK START IT
THAT WILL HAVE TO WORK

AND I PLAN TO COVER THE TERMINALS
I DONT PLAY GOLF ANYMORE
ONLY THING THATS GOING BACK THERE ARE SUITCASES
