You are correct, 911S's did climb to the $250k level for not very special cars and have since retreated. Simply caused by every piece of crap flooding the market trying to cash in. All the major auctions were flooded with suspect 911S's and slowly but surely there was a retraction in value.

One hopes, probably without a chance of reality, that the world is not suddenly flooded with owners thinking their rusted out E9 is a six figure car, but hope as I may, it will happen as it always has :-(

I was shooting for the high 80’s
with mine. Thanks for resetting my expectations. :D :D :D

Lovely car. My only nit is all that burlwood inside, but easily remedied somewhat.

Love these hot rod E9s! I'm thinking we may have a new BAT non-CSL record E9. Thinking...$240k.
Impressive guess, right on the money haha
