It's a great question. I did consider that but went with standard CR as I didn't really want to end up with too much of a custom engine, if that makes sense? I think it's easy to fall in to the trap of optimising everything, and before you know it, you've got a racing car on your hands. That's not really what I want with this car, so I've decided to be a bit sensible (the Schrick camshaft is a small concession to my less sensible ideasLooks like a mighty engine. I can understand that hiding such nice pistons inside feels like a waste. But you'll feel them later on
If you don't mind me asking (just bought an M90 for my car i need of full resto);
What was the reason for keeping the 9.3:1 compression, and not increasing to 10:1 for instance?
What injection system will you be running?
Same bolts that attaches bell housing to motor if from the rear and motor mount bolts if from the side.What size bolts did you need in order to attach the M90 to your engine stand?
