What did you do to your E9 today?

C&C San Clemente was great, a 68 mile round trip, car runs and drives really well, the B30 engine is so smooth, a revelation for this 4-cyl Fiat and Alfa guy. There were no other E9’s and only one E10, there were two E24’s. Lots of modern BMWs mostly 3-series.
The one time I didnt drive my E9 to Cars and Coffee..I did pass you as you were leaving though. Nice car.

Yes when I did the Amelia C&C's I believe the application process begins in September
Yea, I was certainly late signing up though the year before two of us signed up in January and there was plenty of extra space near the BMW area so it was disappointing to hear about the smaller turnout this year. I’ll set a reminder for this September.

A friend gave me a one original C-Pillar emblem. I had the one myself. Put them both on the car. Just a little flaw that I can live with.

20 hour delayed response: reversed her into storage, out from the misty rain to prevent her from melting...then lovingly gazed at her in awe

went to the fancy hotel in town

Sun Valley...nice. Was there in January but the snow sculpture wasn’t up. It started to lean over, so they removed it. I’m glad they rebuilt it.

Here it was a couple years ago after snowmageddon...

Beautiful place... I’m sure everyone enjoyed the car and dogs...

Got my sills welded and fitted to the right of the coupe. Did this slightly differently to how I've seen on the forum. Spotweldd the a and B pillar reinforcements to the middle sill before welding the outer on, then welded the whole assembly to the car. About 1kg of electrox paint in every crevice should stop any rust although I'll be cavity painting and waxing too.

p.s. beer, in favour of Maredsous double or blonde, and La chouffe, both from Belgium.

well done Jesus! i will drink to listening to Chet Baker ... one of the great trumpet players ... along with other jazz masters. i also have some vintage equipment - Magneplanar 3a speakers / Bryston amp + preamp / Linn turntable / Rotel HDCD player. My drink of choice is aged wine ... predominately French (bordeaux / burgundy / champagne / loire whites), Italian (barolo / tuscan), Spanish (rioja + ribera del duero) and American all of this makes dreaming about coupes easier ... that's what i did today ... think about what will make my coupe better.

I like wine. I have vintage McIntosh tube audio components from the late 50's and early 60's. Like my coupe, it is as much fun just to look at it as it is to listen to it.

I took the coupe out for a couple hour drive around LA today...had a short break in the rain, and don't know when I can get it back on the road with the impending apocalypse and more rain on the way...hoping no more than two weeks, but who knows.

Meant to get a good pic, but just enjoyed driving the damn thing so much I forgot!
