Removed the gearbox to change the clutch.

No wonder it was slipping

I believe it’s the original clutch - ~46,000 miles on it.

@Simufly - thought you might like to see this.

I drove the Siena for 360 miles in beautiful weather. Overtook most cars cruising at 120-150km/h
Then I took the Taiga out, which I will drive back to Stockholm on Monday or Tuesday. And yes, I took out a NOS pair of Bosch wiper blades, in its original box with a DM price sticker
rubber was as new!!! The Taiga has needed this for some time.
(and then I drove some of my Jaguar XKs from the 50s)

Amazing eh? I think it had a good life! Maybe it’s might driving style that killed it in the end :)
Keith at Jaymic, many many years ago, offered me a five speed O/D box which I had them fit to the e3. That could be considered a mistake but I wanted to maintain "originality" of the e9 hey ho.
Sadly the e3 has disappeared from sight after the new owner collected it.
Where are you Ashley and where is TTM345R?

Thought the valance was double skinned.
Hit with hammer, swore a lot, hit with chisel, swore even more.
