didn't Scotty use that inner cone when beaming someone up, or down? perhaps THAT is why it looks so familiar. Or perhaps that is what he used to regenerate those precious dilithium crystals. Just a thought. Mike

I had 11 of 47 stripped, repaired and polished pieces of alloy, painted in CERAKOTE, 36 to go, step by step.

A little Snail that make car go very fast.... AKA Turbocharger

It's definitely what it looks like but I couldn't see the whole unit. After closer look it's peeking out back there. I thought it was a turbo themed lamp cover for a momen. Are you going to mount it like that or were you having fun?

Bumper refresh with possibility of new centre section with Cibie 40 fogs. Haven't quite decided yet; plain, old centre section or S/H centre section with yellow fogs.

It will mounted right behind the High beam space... once engine is back in we have to Fab the exhaust manifold.

I fitted the new firewall sound-deadening, 3 pieces, looks great, In an ideal world you would fit the two lower pieces PRIOR, to installing the engine ,ahh well plan B can be effective .

Added a Pantera to our weekend cruise ritual, fantastic weather today, temps in the 50's, the cars loved the dense air and the triple Webers were more vocal than usual :

Pulled the radiator and fan to diagnose a very loud squeaky rattling sound. Somehow the fan bolt had come a bit loose and fan was not seated properly. Tightened everything up and all is quiet again...
Also pushed the alternator over a bit to tighten up its belt.

Was some days ago, but got the '67 out to meet some old '02 friends for coffee in downtown Austin. No one had seen this car yet and there were a lot of questions! Ended up driving about 120 miles that day without a hitch. Lots of twisties and hard driving to see how it compared to my low-slung '02. What a ton of fun.
