What did you do to your E9 today?

I also saw the underside of my car for the first time today. It really is in good condition (in my opinion).

I also discovered that the subframe has been dropped out at some point (I think I was told this but it didn’t stick in my mind) and cleaned, scrubbed and painted.

Looks incredible clean for an unrestored car...

I haven't been around much, but my dad and I have been plugging away at the E9. This isnt from today, but rather the last few weeks.

My dad, pulled the dash without pulling the glass or breaking anything.

We sent the dash off to be repaired, so while its gone we worked on the wood.

got my MoT inspection for next 4 years !!! passed with honours !

usual cars older than 10 y. need to be inspected once a year
for historic license plate cars (which involves an specific project homologation report):
> 25 y.o. inspection every 2 years
> 35....3 years
> 45....4 years
> 50....5 years

so now enjoying the 4 years ...

Plaid shorts would be too much of a clash with the Hawaiian shirt

It was the painted exhaust, the judge really like it. The M6 had a bit too much shine, and the M1 somehow didn't pop in it's appearance. The M5 did well.
