What did you do to your E9 today?

New CN36 tires installed. Air conditioning system charged for the first time and the air blows cold (for now). The spent the night at the shop and there was a release of AC system oil, so I have a leak in the worst possible place, in the evaporator area...

I never want to remove the evap box ever again! It took hours to get it back in place.
I was so excited to hear from the shop after they filled the AC on Tuesday PM as it is the first time the AC has worked after working on various parts for the past four years. Then I heard from them the next morning that they found the leak. I was immediately dreading the thought of pulling the evap box apart again.

I am not going to do it right away, I am participating in the 20th anniversary drive with the BMW Classic Car Club in October and my winter project is the rear end, dropping the third member and refreshing the sub-frame and associated components. Maybe it will magically fix itself if I wait long enough.

Getting the car ready for new tires and having the BBS rims polished more than the first time they were done. The local wheel specialist has the equipment to remove and mount the tires without touching the rims.
