Removed the starter. Took 15-20 minutes to get it out. Waiting for the new one to arrive since the original has a worn solenoid.
That's nice to have a couple choices or in my case it would have been really nice to swap out when I damaged on or the other. My Bavaria Alpina-Style air dam got damaged so much I called it my $10K Dollar Air Dam. As much as I paid my neighbor to fix it, it probably added up that much over the years. And I thought I was careful but going fast on back roads that aren't in great shape and crowned if you don't hit the turn just right and make split second decisions, one wrong decision and BLAMO!I 100% support driving it to the grocery store. We need to see these cars out and about. One great thing about driving a beautiful classic car is that it brings a smile to people’s face when they see it - you get a thumbs up in acknowledgement, they’re happy, it’s like a win-win
Have been refinishing my air dam which had gotten a bit beat up prior to my owndership of the car. Body filler, sanding done, painting this weekend. The car came with this 635-style as well as a CSL one, going to take a few of the ideas here to make them easily swappable - 4 bolts to remove bumper and then two push-release bolts to drop the air dam.
