So, I removed it and used lacquer thinner to remove the paint.
What a pain to remove stuff.
Time to move to the next step, the buffer.
It will look way better. As will that bumper after you remove the paint...
Bumper is one of those fiberglass things from the coupe-guy dude in Colorado.
It was a royal pain to fiberglass "stud" and align into the body. I hope to never have to remove it again. So, I'm stuck with the paint color on the bumper.
With that in mind, "I like it, I really like it."
Fifty years ago the OEM dudes in Germany woulda, coulda, shoulda painted those fiberglass bumpers on the CSL?

Mess, Dave didn't have the clip piece. I'm wondering if the steel bumper piece would even fit the Coupe-guy's fiberglass bumper, but I'd like to give it a try. Currently it just looks unfinished.

Wow, the rear panel is no longer black.
I suggested that he might be coerced into selling a center piece; I think it'd work....Better than the chrome piece IMHO.
