if you run two batteries ,they constantly charge and discharge till they both go dead.
so this relay only connects the second battery when the ignition is on.
that shoukl help.

FYI - It's very common to run two batteries in off-road vehicles. They typically run a small starter battery and a big deep cell like a large yellow top or odyssey for the winch. No discharge issues as you described. I can source a write up if you need one. Check expeditionportal.com.

In general, yellow tops aren't the best starter batteries.

see how it works today you dont need the end parts

only need the one end stop
it made all the difference as i could move the door any way by the most minimal amount.
so i set the brace then tighten one bottom screw and swing in the top .
then set the top and swing in the bottom.
the key is to use a scissor jack to adjust ,you can move it a 1/4 millimeter at a time
very fine and controlled adjustment.
very happy and it was easy to do.

I was able to get the doors dialed in reallly easy with the cradle.
i set it the tightened one top bolt and swing it in a millimeter at a time
then did the opposite at the bottom
was done in 20 minutes.
picked up the wheels from the body shop
came out well and matched the off gray orig center/ATTACH] View attachment 22065 color.

Alan,
Good solution for lining up the doors. I like inventive tools that make life easier.
Its something I will keep in mind for when the times comes when I need to do it. (I saved your pic with dimensions)

I was afraid already thinking about putting my doors back in as all internals are still attached to it, making them bloody heavy; they are at the max of my 2 handed lifting capacity, thus no positioning accuracy...
Your trick makes it much, much easier.

thanks for sharing.

finished up the truck
ready for the new carpet
assembled the door after the adjustments
then no wipers---
one of the springs on the brushes was all broken.
special thanks to occoupe for the nla white door plug

set the seats and the speakers didnt work
oh well
they can just sit down there
the console was hitting the seat back adjust so i trimed it to seat inside the box a bit.
also ive always wondered why BMW didnt plate the seat runner as its so pronounced around all the other chrome -just realized the plastic trim covers it
so did um up.

i reset the lever
and it has an 8 point slot and the lever has 4 points
so there are 4 spots open -- so i set a trimmed piece of a staple on the empty spaces
so the the lever is really tight so it wont slip in relation to the other side
it was a bit loose before
this is a good way to fix the loose lever
then set the circ clip

received my duct tail back so set it up
i set a piece of foam on the back a marked the mounting holes w/ tape and punched a hole where they should be then -set it in place and transfered the foam to the trunk
the drilled holes lined up perfectly.
may have to design something the get the front down a bit
the trunk seal needs to set so i can adjust it tighter
mocking up the emblems
will use a smaller roundel
maybe the c pillar as i have two not using.
the (E) holes in the trunk will align the position for the badges.
im going to use the motorsport 60MM roundel as it fits the spoiler very well as we have seen before.
off to the muffler shop in the morn.

one thing for sure don't adjust your doors up in the air
i set it down on the ground and they were a 1/4" off
just goes to show how flexible our bodys are.
