OK, any idea on how to remove and either save or replace these accelerator pedal pivot bushings?

I am planning to bead blast and paint the pedal box, and presumably these should come out...

Just pry it out and use new ones before installing in the coupe, once in the car one side is near impossible to replace
The new ones look somewhat different. These have a hard plastic insert and then the rubber grommet. The grommets seem pretty hard at this point.. DO those yellow plastic parts it inside the grommet?

Looks awesome! I think I have an extra set of those bushings if you want - I had ordered them but then also ordered a full pedal refresh and they were also in there. And yes, be glad you’re putting them in now, that was quite an obnoxious job to do in the car

Scott, I ended up buying new throttle shaft bushings. They have a different appearance, but work just fine. I didn't want to go as far as I did and re-use the old ones although I am sure that they would have been just fine to re-install after powder coating.

Ahh, you raised my other question. You powder coated the pedal box. How did that work out?

Don says he paints them, but I was thinking that it lives a pretty hard life being stuck out there under the brake fluid reservoir...

Other question:

I will soon be test fitting my Getrag 256/6 to the M90 engine.

I am assuming I need the E24/E12 style slave cylinder and clutch release mechanism.

What are the differences between this and the E9 setup?

On restoration we powdercoat. On Engine engine bay refresh we paint.

When you go to put those bushings in, make sure you chamfer them.

Thanks, but I think I'll get the full refresh kit from W-N. Need the acc pedal and the other pedal covers anyway..
