Well that's a bit of a squeeze! Manifold will be off to get ceramic coated. Equal length with a 5% max variation from longest to shortest. Given the space and packaging restrictions I'm very happy

Lots of little niggly bits out of the way. Battery is mounted and alternator charging as it should. CO adjustment on the air flow meter was way out and TPS wasn't set properly so was on part load mapping at idle. Now starts on the button, running a lot better and much more responsive but still need to sync the bypass screws on the throttle bodies and unseize the main idle screw. Got some temp into the oil and she is starting to come together!

Did you get a file on those headers? Reproduceable? I’m sure there’s another person hoping to install an m88/s38 is a right hand e9

Brake reservoir relocated to keep some of the heat away from the fluid. Clutch and brakes are now bled but the brakes could do with a third bleed

Had a few hours of free time today, got the retrosound europa from a UK supplier so assembled that and also made a radio plate from 18mm ply that was then trimmed in some suede left over from the pillars and boot. Radio panel also has switches for hazards, rear fog and aux fan as well as the alarm Led. Speaking of alarm also had that fitted up along with remote central locking. Still need to mount the radio plate to the centre console and finish up the wiring

Wheels redone in chrome powdercoat, also gone for slightly narrower lips, 2" front 2.5" rear (still the 3.5s in the background) and barrels a touch wider to 5" front 5.5" rear. 50 year old cast aluminium isn't the best but these are looking a damn sight better than they were before. Really not done anything to the car other than accumulating a few parts but hopefully with the wheels back on will give me the kick up the backside I need to finish it
