If idiot lights are meant really for idiots, the higher the wattage the better.
In your case you can stay with 2W because I think you had an oil pressure gauge (and because you are smart).
Based on smartness, I will use a 3W then…

I put 4 watts in mine, just a little brighter so you can actually see them at night.

i can not recognize the castrol ones with their old denominations, most similar is B SAE 90, but what does that mean, no idea if GL5 or different

hello, if you want more brighter bulb with less than 2watt use led bulb that will be really bright, and there is white, red or blue and yellow color available, choose you color any color you choose it is brighter than regular bulb, and to me 4 watt is better since at night for me original 2 watt bulb I can not see a dam thing, defiantly needs brighter bulb.
