What did you do to your E9 today?

Thx Alvaro for the custom door chrome trim strips you made. I think they look great! The tweeters are in the ashtray.

the Scheel 400 seats Alvin put in the car but recovered with a slightly different shade of red leather and leather weave obtained from the Singer Porsche supplier.

My favorite is the wood grab bar like in the RHD cars! Thanks Coupe King and Madera! And Justin (JS Custom) who so expertly installed it and made the aluminum trim strip work so well still just below it.

Jabberjaw always drove great with wonderful handling and a sweet engine. I loved the look and stance. Finally the interior will be as good. Don already fixed the engine bay with correct details. I pulled the engine to have it painted and addressed the under carriage in a manner like HBChris has detailed.

Love the rear seats...Are they from scratch or just modified e9 shells?

Classic CCA club members will see a lot more…….
I had a great time with the Southern California guys. It was a cool assortment of cars as you will see below. Friday up the coast was a little wet, but Saturday was perfect. HB Chris and Paul Cain organized a cocktail party and trivia contest on the beach in Monterey that allowed us all to relax and share after the Friday drive. There was more wine tasting and great food. I was dumped on by the Bomb Cyclone during the last hour of or drive north the SF Bay Area. We had an unheard of 5 inches of rain in the central Bay Area during the weekend. The pics below don’t adequately convey all the great moments and scenery.

Great pix Norm! Today, I completed the fussy reassembly of my heater today. Flaps cleaned, recovered in new foam, all linkages cleaned, lubed, re-installed to open and close to factory spec. Added new Bowden cable from SFDesigns. Big help! Took longer than I expected, but then, so do most jobs on a 49 year old car. Photos above remind me all this rebuilding activity will lead to tours like the one you show. Just a few more steps until interior is back in. But Man, with the new floor repair and paint, it seems a shame to cover it up!

Loving all of these pics of rare original floor pans! :)

Drove my Taiga CSL for the first time in a couple of months to check on Jabberjaw.

Going to visit Jabberjaw. How can I upstage one the most recognizable modded e9’s on the planet? Better drive the Taiga CSL. :D

Haha. Here it is outside Kindigit Design. The Bitchin’ Rides crew loved the color! Dave has been fun to talk to about the CS. He likes jbbrjw. Wants to put an LS in it though, of course . But he said he would also do the BMW V12 for the right $ it’s an interesting place.
