What did you do to your E9 today?

I am partially ashamed I have not done much to or for my E9 today, or lately.
But borrowing a fashionable expression, my E9 has been "top of mind" nonetheless, and hopefully that counts.
I will take it for a ride in 5'. Motion is good for humans and cars.
Great thread with so many owners really doing good work!

I actually had 2 pumps fail. The first pump was 2 years old and had a little over 1,000 miles. That pump was a Graf. The second pump was a Hepu. The one I installed yesterday is a BMW pump; so we will see how that goes…

Hepu and Graf are (here in NL) around 45 euro/USD; the BMW Dealer quoted 135 euro for a new one so that made me doubt it.
But anyway, good info. And, looking at it: 3*45 euro/usd+ all the wrenching work quickly makes 135 from the dealer sound like a sensible route.

I would definitely say that it’s worth it if it is a better pump.

Attended a neighborhood car show last weekend.

Here is mine. Failed after 1500 miles. No name that I can see. Only some numbers…. Replaced with a real BMW one. Knock on wood.

That is a Graf. I used Grafs for years, then Saleris, but then had a bunch of Saleri failures within a year to 18 months, so switched back to Graf. Hepu was only recently available then I wasn't able to get one in time so I used a Graf. I'd like to know who makes the BMW pump, but it probably doesn't matter and is Uro Parts just like everything else they offer these days.

I installed the LED white bulbs in the glove compartment, trunk, and engine bay for better lighting in a dark environment. The rest of the bulbs are like yours--OG incandescent.
I put in the led’s for the license plate bulbs. Quite bright! I haven’t decided if they will be permanent, but I am thinking the more light back there the better for people to see me. I’m definitely keeping the interior all incandescent.

With 13K miles on my Korman engine installed in Hawaii by the previous owner,it was time for a valve adjustment/check. The exhaust valves are now .012" and the intake valves are .010". Getting ready for the LOTA East 1000-mile round trip.
